Eeny meeny miny massacre Catch a tiger by the phalanger Victims sealed up in a little pouch Open it again and roll 'em out Say whatever I say We are identical twins It never happened Start it before it begins One thing is a cousin to another Uncle's monkey's son and rudeboy brother Ska-in-law & order, order out Out a gay and fake a name to tout Say whatever I say We are identical twins It never happened Start it before it begins My favorite t-shirt was the one we wore to college My favorite teacher was the one with the frown, with the hair And though you load me onto docks with salvaged luggage I never was inclined to sink, or to link lick to spit Saliva diaries of judges' umbrage, bummer But by the book, a cook could look at the time on a lime Oven Dutch insomuch as under rumpled number And back in Holland holler "Watch Hot Botch and rot" © Rock Paper Blank (ASCAP)

Come and meet your friends The gallows wish to introduce the dead Extended bone to clasp the hand Positioned to make amends And still as They slumber Their mouths pass A murmur Welcome to a world with no more sleep Go and see your friends The devil's playground needs a set of legs A messenger well-fed Will never question and rarely rest Yet under Each gravestone Are sundered Three shamed ghosts Welcome to a world with no more sleep Torches to confront the ogre They said the same And led the lame To present fame With no more sleep A soul to keep A role to reap No one any longer fearing the wrath Grown and honing infantry to protect Monstrous menace rendered a bedside threat Brake the barricade and they'll find you © Rock Paper Blank (ASCAP)

Ready, set, and throw up some more failure Already sent my papers through the shredder The documents have ceased to be I'd rather just dream than actually succeed Time for me to withdraw It's too crazy There's too many pitfalls And I'm lazy I've lost my pace, can't pick it up I'll never get that ticket up and out of here I guess I'll never get outta here I guess I'm all outta luck I guess I'll always be stuck here Until I'm pushin', pushin' up the local daisies, baby I'm givin' up for good, toss out the rain check The little engine that could is now a train wreck Say a prayer for me Tell God drop dead with all my energy Wherever the shit falls It'll graze me I got so many missed calls The phone scares me Each day I think I'll pick it up But I'm not quite ready to be lifted up and out of here I guess I'll never get outta here I guess I'm all outta luck Looks like I'll always be stuck here, man Until I'm pushin' up the local daisies, baby Pushin', pushin', pushin', pushin' up the local daisies, maybe You Could save me No way Don't say a prayer for me 'Cause God dropped dead with all my energy Awake only in lethargy Content to finally rest in peace The ravens made a grave for me I'll guess I'll never get out © Rock Paper Blank (ASCAP)

Had a hard head, had a hard heart Had a hard hat, had a manual Lost a loose hip, licked a moose lip Flicked a toothpick, kissed a cannibal Had a hammer, spat and stammered Spic-and-span, spattered and enamored Got a hotspot, hit the hay Spayed a spaniel Lectures went from best to west when Everyone and his pet slept to death or left No one Jones was slow to show up Quoting quotas, mephedrone bereft Credit, please, Oedipal complexion Medically edible erection Epicles, portmantease the Greek freak Legend cleft in send-up Had a hard day Had a hard, had a hard day All the teachers' dirty looks And what do you say When all the lessons fade to gray? Can't tell the color of a cornered rook Molotov sauce, wall-to-wall sloths Block the tail toss, sale competition Ron and Paul Hoff pawn it all off Cognate cognition, magnate on a mission What a hotshot at the shot put Heavyquipment, pitter-patter sound Runner grunting, thunder rumbling Lightning strikes the track that wraps around Breacher Creature, clear the bleachers Eat your sleeve, obvious envier Veer away, fearing seriousness Tongue-lashing-in-cheek, Heart attack in mouth Had a hard day Had a hard, had a hard day All the teachers' dirty looks And what do you say When all the lessons fade to gray? Can't tell the color of a cornered rook I'm blind to chalk That poor blackboard has More to say But I can't see it and wouldn't pay attention anyway Hey, which way to Take in a game so vague? The elder fellowed a fallow farm and a Yellow feline fell in the well on the lawn They fed it a breaded med, all better, went to bed The meth heads questioned his methods The mystics sniffed the logistics He said, "Son, it's just Veterinarians' chess" © Rock Paper Blank (ASCAP)

Levity Is all that's left of me this week Brevity's The elegy Sentencing to death our sanity Memories Won't let us sleep Unaware of a shared disease, we'll Never know we had a chance My eyes dance at your name This can't be contained I wish we were flames I'd die wrapped around you I wish we were flames Entropy Will eventually get the best of me Amenity's Preventing these Feelings from breaching necessity A false start A lost heart And we'll never really meet, we Didn't know we had a Chance My eyes dance at your name This can't be contained I wish we were flames I'd die wrapped around you I wish we were flames My eyes dance at your name This can't be contained I wish we were flames I'd die wrapped around you I wish we were flames Serenity And longevity Are mutually exclusive Let's not wait © Rock Paper Blank (ASCAP)

about

"Slept to Death" tells the story of 19-year-old Stanley Dedman, a lonely insomniac from the town of St. Daniel, South Dakota.
While assisting his father, a world-renowned sheep veterinarian, Stanley meets the farm girl of his dreams. He is too shy to speak to her, however, and instead begins writing grunge songs. In order to fund his new band "Lost Robert," he begins selling sheep tranquilizers to local drug addicts, and pretty soon the whole town is hooked on them. A police officer goes missing, the mayor's house is burnt to the ground, and the government decides to build a wall around St. Daniel, sheltering the rest of the world from its madness.
